As an impact brand, it's important for us to take responsibility. Not only for our products, but also for our planet and its inhabitants. What we achieved so far
We want to use our success to do good – for both humans and nature. That's why we’re taking action to contribute sustainable development, and enter into partnerships with nonprofit organizations and social projects that address issues close to our own hearts.
In December 2023, we donated 10% of the proceeds generated from our online CLASSICS collection in November to GoBanyo, totaling €1,700. These funds were primarily used to acquire thermal clothing, crucial during the cold months as it retains body heat.
We're very happy to share that we've reached our big goal of planting 30,000 trees in the Klövensteen Forest near Hamburg, supporting the reforestation project. This is a significant step for our company, a next step toward our goal of becoming groundwater-neutral.
From May to October 2023, we collected over 1,106 € in donations. Twice a year, we donate the money we raised from the SOCIAL BAG sales to Femnet e.V. Since the launch of the SOCIAL BAG in 2022, we have already donated a total of 3.634 € to this initiative.
Thanks to the MYMARINI community, we were able to raise a total of 4.971,26 € for the Social Surf Club e.V. at our first Sample Event in May 2023.
Through the sale of the collaborative Social Bag with our friends at MARIN ET MARINE., we have raised a total of 2,528 € in donations for femnet e.V. so far!
With the start of the Take-back pilot project, we accept all MYMARINI garments that you no longer wear, regardless of collection or where you purchased them. Our aim is to ensure that our products are sustainably and responsibly recycled.
We accompanied and financed a surf camp for girls aged 12 to 16 in July 2022 together with the Hamburg-based association THE SOCIAL SURF CLUB e.V.
Repack has been added as a sustainable shipping method to the online store. Compared to conventional packaging, RePack can be reused an average of 20 times.
Thanks to you we raised 11.000€ donations for the people in Ukraine! All donations are split 50:50 to „Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft“ and „Aktion Deutschland Hilft“.

We’re pleased to be able to provide GoBanyo guests with 100 sleeping mats, thermal underwear sets, ski socks, scarves and hats each, thanks to the cooperation of Bergzeit and Sea to Summit.
Becoming water neutral is one of our declared goals. That's why we are planting 30,000 trees by the end of 2023 together with Klimapatenschaft Hamburg. The first 12,000 are already in the ground!
When the situation in Afghanistan worsened in august and the Taliban took over the government, we were shocked. Especially by what it meant for children & women in the country.
We decided to help the „Lebenshilfehaus“ - a home for people with disabilities which has been affected hugely by the flood in Germany.
Talking about periods is still considered a taboo in many countries. As part of our cooperation we donated 100 menstrual cups to Ruby Cup and provided a discount code for their community.
We donate 30 water boxes each month to GoBanyo, a non-profit organization that aims to provide dignified access to hygiene and companionship for everyone.
Through this project, women in Uganda are given access to menstrual cups and educated on the topic.
After seven years of designing and producing our beloved MYMARINIs it felt like it was time for our very first sustainability report: Since we want to keep our actions and impacts as transparent as possible for everyone who cares.
We put The Palmeras Collection from 2019 back into our online store and committed to donating 100% of the total turn-over to Sea-Watch e.v.

Sonnenscheincafé is for people without a permanent address or those who otherwise simply cannot afford to get a drink, a hot meal or a fresh haircut.
We decided to donate 700 of our face masks to FÖRDERN & WOHNEN Hamburg. This is a public institution which supports homeless people, refugees, people with disabilities.
We strive to produce in harmony with nature and create durable and sustainable products. At the same time, we want to use our success to do good and give back to the world.
Environmental awareness, social engagement, and a deep connection to nature are central values of MYMARINI. Therefore, we support social and ecological projects through long-term partnerships. Together with the SOCIAL SURF CLUB, we empower young girls, plant trees in the MYMARINI Forest to protect water as a essential resource, and support GOBANYO in expanding access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities for people without stable housing.
